2024-06-20: Nap Time

It was nap time the other day at Nutrien. We are not sure if this position is comfortable, but the male peregrine who has been frequenting the nest certainly looks relaxed!

2024-06-12: Keeping Dry

This peregrine came to get shelter from the dreary rain this week and posed for the camera. A great place to huddle and wait out the storm!

2024-06-05: Nothing but Nest

The falcons at Nutrien are occasionally stopping in to enjoy their nest, but it doesn't appear to be a season for laying. It is a perfect spot though to catch some sun rays! When peregrines are away from the nest, they are usually solitary and may travel widely. The name ‘peregrine’ means ‘wanderer’ or ‘pilgrim’.
