Yellowhead County
Join us for some summer fun at the Yellowhead County Kids Can Catch event on Millers Lake. This family fishing event is completely free and for everyone. Bring your own fishing rods if you have one! We have some to borrow if you need it.
Date: Thursday, July 3, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.
Place: Millers Lake, TWP Rd 531A, Yellowhead County. Parking on the east end of the lake day use area.
Important Info:
- Bring your own fishing gear if you have it. Otherwise, rods will be available to borrow.
- Fishing mentors on hand to help new anglers.
- Information available on fishing and conservation.
- Complimentary beverages and food available, while supplies last.
- Fun giveaways for participants.

- Alberta Sportfishing Regulations apply to this event. Residents of Alberta who are under 16 and over 65 years old do not need a licence to fish. Adult residents of Alberta need a licence to fish. Adults accompanying children (under 16) do not need a licence as long as they are not fishing. Visit mywildalberta.ca for more information.
